We can’t, won’t and don’t stop those desktop wallpapers oozing out… so here’s the latest in the collection, titled ‘My heart caught fire’, after a line in the Bat For Lashes track ‘Good Love’… hope it does the do for you:
We’ve also been sent this little beauty from the good chaps at King Underground record shop, pay them a visit for your hip hop vinyl requirements and get your desktop dealt with below:
Regular visitors to this site may have noticed that updates have been few and far between recently. This isn’t because nothing is happening, in fact it’s quite the opposite. We’ve had so much going on that we’ve not had time to get down to some Delarge business. For example, Paul has been designing and building websites for the likes of Royksopp, Kleerup and Patrick Wolf amongst other things… but things are going to change…
So first of all - let’s get to this new desktop wallpaper. Back in 2007, the main man Dark Daze took a set of photos for our original logo t-shirts featuring the wonderful Carly. Recently, the infamous Sally Reynolds reminded us of the shots on her Tumblr blog and how dope they are. So it seemed only right that we dug in the crates and pulled out this beautiful shot to adorn your desktop:
And what’s more… we’ve just had a new Tshirt designed by the jawdropper that is Alex Young, printed and handed over to Dark Daze and the Garage Studios crew for a fresh batch of photos - trust us when we say the tshirts are all that, and of course the new photos will be too.
We’ve also got another new desktop wallpaper brewing from Ashab, a hand drawn wonder that will make your monitor say thank you every day… in addition, the photo gallery is being fed fresh photos from the The Beautiful and the Canned, a celebration of street art that took place last month, pictures from our man Simon’s recent trip to Paris and coming right up and collection of photos from last week’s Ophelia Fancy party, celebrating the launch of their room at Hotel Pelirocco here in Brighton.
In addition, we have a nice interview coming up… and more and more treats… so stay with us, and everything will be OK.
We leave you now with a few videos and links that we’ve been absorbing over recent weeks:

Ever since Rup stepped on the scene about 3 years ago with the triumphant, trumpet touting track ‘King Cnut’ and his work with 27 Beats, the MC with a mountain of metaphors has always provoked interest and excitement around his music. Now he’s back with a new album - ‘Just Woke Up’ and a name change to straight up ‘Rupert’.
We catch up with him to discuss the recording of the new album, track by track, offer up a download of ther track Night Night and we take a unique approach to an interview with the man who will put out music whether he likes it or not…
You may well be familiar with Lakai Footwear’s epic skate video ‘Fully Flared’, which took 4 years to complete and was one of the most anticipated videos of 2007… but it sure was worth it. Now, directors Ty Evans and Spike Jonze has rejigged the intro to fit with Unkle’s track ‘Heaven’ which also features in the film.
If you’ve not seen how the film starts then soak up this video.
You might know about Delarge’s sister site Urban Dirty, full of free texture photos for your designs and artwork, and also the source of a lot of graphics for our wallpapers. Well, now there is a range of Urban Dirty laptop, iPhone and iPod skins available at Infectious.
